June 2014 Update

Hello again!
The notebook is continuing it's amazing journey!

The project is growing!  New women are being added every week, it has been so great to see!

Some Project decisions went on this past month:
There were some changes made to better ensure that those women taking part in the project who do not want to be identified are better kept secret.  Privacy and confidentiality are so important to many that are taking part in this project, and everything needs to be done to ensure that the identities of those in the project are kept secret!
It was suggested, and then temporarily vetoed by group vote, that we attempt to get some sort of media coverage on the book.  It was agreed by the majority that while this is a good idea, the project is still too new to be doing such things.

A problem arose when the Project's email address received two emails that were written completely in Chinese characters!  After days of attempting to translate, Kristen took the emails to the Facebook group for help.  Just when a translator was tracked down, it was discovered that the email was actually sent in English and had somehow malfunctioned en route! At least now we have a Chinese translator, should the need arise!

There was some confusion when the book was mailed from a post office that was located inside a grocery store, and the tracking number received was not valid on the USPS website.  The book arrived safe and sound despite this (thanks, Postal Service!) but it was an interesting dilemma, should the book have gotten misplaced.
