May 2014 Update
Oh no!
Earlier this month, the book was lost in the mail.
From this unfortunate circumstance sprung an exciting new idea!
The tracking numbers when the book is shipped are now being posted on the project's facebook group page! This is wonderful, because now anyone who is curious can type the numbers in online and see where the book is at! And extra wonderful because now if someone loses the receipt with the tracking number, there is an easy place to find it.
Because the book was lost, we had to start it over. The book is now purple (because the store was out of yellow!)
The book left the Pacific Northwest, USA and traveled all the way to the other side of the country, to New Jersey! It visited two sisters while on it's journey there, and is currently crossing state lines to New York. After that it is scheduled to travel to Iowa... and who knows after that?
It's so wonderful watching the book move, and seeing the excitement around it. The excitement is palpable, and I can't wait to be able to share what these amazing women have written!
